PM fully engaged in executing his plan: Public Administration Advisor
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has already started working on implementing his announced plan and is taking it forward with full enthusiasm, said Advisor to the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Ismail Zabihullah.
He said that the Prime Minister said, 'I have a plan' at a program organized at Lakshmipur Circuit House on Friday (February 27) morning. Now he has jumped into implementing that plan. Like the CEO of an organization, he is observing every detail and getting the work done accordingly.
Ismail Zabihullah said that this has been praised as a surprising and exceptional initiative worldwide and is a source of inspiration for us. He expressed optimism that a bright future awaits Bangladesh.
Thanking Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for giving the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Administration, he said that public administration has been a victim of partisanship for more than a decade and a half. This has caused the administration to lose its impartiality and efficiency and has had a negative impact on various sectors of the state. He promised to build an efficient, impartial and merit-based administration according to the Prime Minister's policies. In his words, the administration will work as a servant of the people, not as a ruler. The goal is to make Bangladesh a non-discriminatory, inclusive, accountable and corruption-free state.
He also said that they have a spiritual relationship with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and 'Dhaner Shish', but their identity is Bangladesh first and foremost. Highlighting the difference between the pre-election and post-election situations, he said that the unconditional support given by the people has created a great responsibility. He stressed the importance of working together to implement the election pledge.
Expressing his determination to build a liberal, democratic, prosperous and accountable Bangladesh, Ismail Zabihullah said that it is their sacred responsibility to implement the manifesto and promises with which the BNP has gained the trust of the people. He said that not only BNP, but all political parties will take the country forward.
After the guard of honor was given at the Circuit House, the advisor was greeted with flowers by Deputy Commissioner S M Mehedi Hasan, Superintendent of Police Md. Abu Tarek, District BNP Member Secretary Shahabuddin Sabu, Joint Convener Hasibur Rahman, former Chairman of Laxmipur Municipality Hasanuzzaman Chowdhury Mintu, BFF Vice President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, District Judge Court Public Prosecutor Ahmed Ferdous Manik, Municipal BNP President Rezaul Karim Liton, District Jubo Dal President Syed Rashidul Hasan Lincoln and District Swechhasebak Dal President Mohsin Kabir Swapan. In addition, members including General Secretary of Laxmipur Press Club, Saidul Islam Pabel, greeted the advisor with flowers.
