PM seeks vote for boat terming it Noah's Ark

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought vote for Awami League's electoral symbol boat terming it a safeguard as like Noah’s Ark.

She said: "Almighty Allah has saved the humanity through Noah’s Ark and similarly the people of the country achieved freedom by casting vote for boat."

She said this while addressing her election-campaign rally in Sylhet on Wednesday.

"So, cast your votes for those who are contesting the upcoming 12th national polls with the symbol boat," she added.
