PM Tarique Rahman arrives in Bogura
Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived in Bogura. He arrived at Bogura Circuit House around 9:45am in this morning.
On his arrival, local administration officials welcomed him with floral greetings.
Earlier, he departed from his Gulshan residence in Dhaka around 6:10am by road as part of a scheduled political and development-focused tour.
His wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, accompanied him during the visit.
According to the itinerary, Tarique Rahman attended programmes at the Bogura Municipality building in the morning before heading to his ancestral home in Bagbari village of Gabtali upazila.
He is scheduled to visit the Ziaur Rahman Rural Hospital and inaugurate a measles-rubella vaccination campaign. He will also launch a family card distribution programme and inaugurate a canal excavation project in the area.
Later in the day, he is expected to visit and inaugurate several development initiatives in Bogura town before addressing a public rally in the afternoon as the chief guest.
The visit is set to conclude in the evening with inaugurations of the newly constructed Bogura Press Club building and the reconstruction work of Baitur Rahman Central Mosque.
He is expected to leave for Dhaka later in the evening, with a brief stopover at the Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogura on his return journey.
