Police vehicle set on fire in Gopalganj
A police vehicle was torched and vandalized in the Ulipur area of Gopalganj Sadar, in an incident that occurred on Wednesday morning (16 July). The violence is reportedly linked to the National Citizen Party’s ‘Desh Garte July Padayatra’ programme, with members of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) accused of involvement.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station, Mir Md. Sajedur Rahman, said, "The National Citizen Party (NCP) has been organizing marches throughout July.
