Politics needs vision, formulaic practices no longer viable: Amir Khasru
BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that politics need vision. "Formulaic or stereotype political practices are no longer viable."
He made the remark at the 'Zia Swimming Carnival' organised by Dhaka North BNP on Saturday (September 27).
"The political landscape is evolving and must reflect the aspirations of a changing society, particularly the youth," he said.
He noted that the public expects the BNP to embody strong principles. "Without embracing people's
vision, the party will fall short in shaping both its identity and the nation's future.
The BNP leader called for democratisation of not only politics and economy but also sports, ensuring equal access for all citizens.
Citing the initiative of Tarique Rahman, he mentioned plans to establish sports centers nationwide, aiming to nurture talent in cricket, football, and swimming.
Khasru concluded by stating that a new Bangladesh is achievable through democratic leadership, where every citizen shares in the nation's social, economic, and athletic progress.
