Post deprived Chhatra Dal leader cries on Facebook live

A Chhatra Dal leader broke down in tears on Facebook live after not getting a position in the newly formed committee of Lakshmipur District Chhatra Dal. Md Zahid served as the joint secretary in the previous committee.

In a 9-minute and 24-second live video that went viral on social media, Zahid is seen expressing his anger towards the party and breaking down in tears.

On Saturday night, the approval was given to the new 18-member committee of Lakshmipur District Chhatra Dal. Abul Barakat has been made the convener, Abdullah Al Khaled the senior joint convener and Hasibur Rahman the member secretary.

Central Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam and General Secretary Nasir Uddin have ordered the formation of a full-fledged committee within 30 days.

Zahid went live from his Facebook ID immediately after the committee was announced. He complained that he was not evaluated even after being active in party activities for a long time. He claims that despite his qualifications, he has been excluded from the new committee.

In an emotional voice, he said that he is mentally broken because he has been deprived despite contributing to the party's activities. At the same time, he also expressed anger towards some of the party's leaders.

In this regard, Md. Zahid told the media that he has been associated with Chhatra Dal politics for a long time and has played an active role on the streets. However, he was disappointed not to get a place in the new committee.

The last full-fledged committee of Lakshmipur District Chhatra Dal was formed in 2018.
