Postponed graduation parade of trainee constables held in Sardah

The graduation parade of constables undergoing training was held at Sardah Police Academy in Charghat, Rajshahi. On Sunday morning, 334 of the 167th training recruit constables were passed out.

Earlier, their graduation parade was scheduled to be held on December 19. Their graduation parade was postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

Academy Principal (Additional IGP) Md. Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest at the graduation parade and received the greetings. He also inspected the parade and distributed medals among those who achieved excellence in various subjects.

In his speech as the chief guest to the new police members, Academy Principal (Additional IGP) Md. Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan said that the main foundation of a self-reliant state is the stability of the country. The fearless members of Bangladesh Police are working round the clock to maintain peace and stability in the country. Bangladesh Police has always played a leading role in the crisis of the country and the nation. It is also playing a role in the peacekeeping mission in the outside world. With the increase in the scope of work, the responsibility of Bangladesh Police has increased. For this, Bangladesh Police must keep their service and qualifications.

Out of 334 trainees in the training, Md. Sajjadul Islam was selected as the Best TRC. In addition, among those who achieved subject-based excellence, Md. Sumon Ali was selected as the Best Academician, Best in Field Activities, and Paurab Chandra Roy was selected as the Best Shooter.

According to Sardah Police Academy sources, 342 constables started training in Sarada for a six-month basic training from June 24 last year. Their training was supposed to end on December 19. In the meantime, eight people were expelled from the academy on January 3 for unknown reasons. Later, the closing parade was scheduled for January 12.
