President arrives in Pabna for four-day official visit

President Mohammed Sahabuddin has arrived in his home district of Pabna for a four-day official visit, his first since the new government assumed office.

On Saturday (March 28), he landed at Shaheed Advocate Amin Uddin Stadium via helicopter from Ganabhaban, where he received a guard of honour from the district administration and police before proceeding to the Circuit House.

On the second day, Sunday, the President is scheduled to visit his parents’ graves at Arifpur Sadar in the morning and later meet journalists at Pabna Press Club in the evening.

On Monday, he will inspect Bhabanipur Mosque in Pabna Sadar in the morning and return to his residence in the Jubilee Tank area in the evening.

The visit will conclude on Tuesday, with a guard of honour at the Circuit House before he departs for Dhaka by helicopter.

The district administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shahed Mostafa, has held preparatory meetings in advance to ensure smooth arrangements for the President’s visit.
