President Mirza Fakhrul arrives in Sylhet

President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has arrived in Sylhet on a one-day visit. A US-Bangla Airlines flight carrying him landed at Osmani International Airport at 11:27am on Tuesday, September 15. From the airport, he went to Sylhet Circuit House.

He is scheduled to visit the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) at noon today. In the afternoon, he will attend a civic reception organised by Sylhet City Corporation.

Earlier at the airport, he was welcomed by Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) Administrator Abdul Kaiyum Chowdhury, Member of Parliament Emran Ahmed Chowdhury, Sylhet Metropolitan BNP President Nasim Hossain and General Secretary Emdad Hossain Chowdhury, along with senior officials of the administration.
