President returns to country after health checkup

After a health check, President Md Sahabuddin returned to the country. A Bangladesh Biman flight carrying the president and his wife Dr Rebecca Sultana landed at Dhaka airport on Thursday (March 14) morning.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Dean of Diplomatic Corps, UAE Ambassador, Cabinet Secretary, chiefs of three forces, Inspector General of Police (IGP) and senior civil and military officials welcomed the President at the airport, says a press release.

It may be noted that the President left Dhaka for a health check-up in the United Arab Emirates on a regular flight of Emirates Airlines on March 3. He went to London from the UAE on March 6 as part of the medical checkup. During the visit, wife of the president Dr Rebecca Sultana, Secretary of Bangabhaban and concerned officers of Bangabhaban were with the president.
