President Shahabuddin inquires about injured Nur over phone

President Md. Shahabuddin on Sunday morning (August 31) inquired about the health condition of Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur, who was recently injured in a violent attack.

Gono Odhikar Parishad leader Abu Hanif confirmed that the President made the phone call at 10am, expressing concern over Nur’s condition. He conveyed his strong condemnation of the attack and wished Nur a swift recovery.

President Shahabuddin also assured that the government is taking necessary steps to arrange advanced treatment for Nur abroad, if required.

Additionally, he promised that those responsible for the attack will face exemplary punishment.
