Prime Minister’s Press Wing has clarified that the information regarding Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to address the nation tomorrow (Friday) is not correct. "The information that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will address the nation tomorrow (Friday) is not correct," said the press wing this afternoon. With the possibility of celebrating the holy Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, rumors were circulating on social media that the Prime Minister will deliver a special speech. The Press Wing has confirmed that the Prime Minister has no such scheduled programme tomorrow.

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর প্রেস উইং জানিয়েছে, প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান আগামীকাল (শুক্রবার) জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দেবেন, এমন তথ্য সম্পূর্ণ ভুল। 

প্রেস উইংয়ের পক্ষ থেকে আজ বিকেলে বলা হয়েছে, “আগামীকাল প্রধানমন্ত্রী জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দেবেন—এটি সঠিক নয়।”

পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতরের উদযাপনের সম্ভাবনার কারণে সামাজিক মাধ্যমে এমন একটি গুজব ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল। তবে প্রেস উইং নিশ্চিত করেছে, প্রধানমন্ত্রী আগামীকাল এমন কোনো অনুষ্ঠান বা ভাষণের পরিকল্পনা করেননি।
