At around 11:30am, Tarique Rahman is scheduled to formally inaugurate the re-excavation of the Ulashi–Jadunathpur canal, a project linked to the memory of late President Ziaur Rahman. He will also attend a public gathering at the project site.

Later in the programme, he is expected to lay the foundation stone for a 500-bed Jashore Medical College Hospital around 1:15pm, followed by a visit to the historic Jashore Institute Public Library.

After a break at the Jashore Circuit House, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public rally at Jashore Eidgah ground at around 3:30pm.

He is expected to depart for Dhaka by air at 8:00pm.

According to officials, this marks his first visit to Jashore as Prime Minister following the 13th national parliamentary election, and his second visit to the district in the past three months.
