The protesters who had taken up a position in front of the High Commission in Khulshi area around 11 pm on Thursday continued to chant anti-Awami League and anti-India slogans. The police tried to move them away, but they gathered there again after some time.
The protesters chanted slogans: “Stand up against Indian aggression”, “We will all become Hadi, we will fight in the face of bullets”, “We will not let Hadi Bhai’s blood go in vain”. Due to their stance, traffic movement on both sides of the road towards GEC was stopped at one point.
Later, at 12:55am, the protesters moved away from the road in front of the High Commission and traffic flow returned to normal. Khulshi Police Station police were on duty at the scene.
