PSC republishes 46th BCS preliminary results

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has republished the preliminary results of the 46th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) examination. A total of 21,397 candidates passed the exam.

The PSC announced the results on Wednesday.

Earlier on May 9 this year, preliminary results of the 46th BCS examination were published with 10,638 candidates qualifying for the written exams. However, later the decision has been made to re-announce the results to include an equal number of additional candidates, aiming to eliminate possible discrimination.

The commission stated that the newly appointed commission, comprising the chairman and eight members, has thoroughly discussed the issues related to the question paper leaks of various non-cadre exams, including the 44th, 45th, and 46th BCS exams.
The commission has taken these decisions to uphold the transparency, fairness, and impartiality of these examinations, it added.
