Rain expected across Bangladesh over next 3 days

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said rains are likely for the next three days from today, but overnight temperatures may rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country.

According to the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 9.00am, the normal low pressure of the season is staying over the South Bay of Bengal. There may be rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder in one or two places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions including Cumilla region today. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country.

Day and night temperatures may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country.

On Sunday, one or two places in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder.

Day temperature may remain almost unchanged in Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and it may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in other parts of the country.

The temperature may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country on this day and night as well.

The next day, on Monday, there may be rain or thunder with temporary gusty winds at two places in the Rangpur and Sylhet divisions. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country.
