Rain likely next week
The country is likely to experience light rain or dizzle next week, according to a weather forecast. The Meteorological Department has issued a forcast in this regard on Thursday.
Meteorologist Md. Manowar Hossain said: “The country may experience temporarily or partly cloudy skies with dry conditions. However, there is a possibility of moderate to dense fog during the night and morning hours, which may persist until the afternoon in some areas. This fog could potentially disrupt air traffic, inland waterways, and road connectivity. There might be a slight drop in night temperatures across the country, while the day temperatures may decrease slightly in the southern regions and remain unchanged elsewhere. Due to the fog, certain parts of the country may experience cold wave during the day. "
On Friday and Saturday, both the night and day temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable across the country.
Additionally, there is a chance of light rain or drizzle over the next five days.
In terms of temperature records, Nikli in Kishoreganj recorded the lowest temperature of 10.3 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning. The previous day, Badalgachi in Naogaon had the lowest temperature of 10.2 degrees Celsius.
