The Sehri and Iftar schedule for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan has been published by the Islamic Foundation. The Islamic month of fasting is expected to begin on March 2 and end on March 31, depending on the moon sighting, according to the schedule issued by the foundation. The schedule was finalised on January 27, Sarker Sarwar Alam, Director of the Religious Invitation and Culture Department of the foundation, confirmed Jago News. The Sehri and Iftar schedule for other divisions and districts will be published by the foundation’s regional offices.

আসন্ন পবিত্র মাহে রমজানের সেহরি ও ইফতারের সময়সূচি প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। গণমাধ্যমকে এ তথ্য জানান ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনের দ্বীনি দাওয়াত ও সংস্কৃতি বিভাগের পরিচালক সরকার সরোয়ার আলম। জানা গেছে, চাঁদ দেখা সাপেক্ষে এবার পবিত্র মাহে রমজান মাস শুরু হবে আগামী ১ বা ২ মার্চ। তবে রমজান শুরুর সময় ২ মার্চ ধরে ঢাকার সেহরি ও ইফতারের সময়সূচি করেছে ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন। গত ২৭ জানুয়ারি এই সময়সূচি চূড়ান্ত করা হয়। সময়সূচি অনুযায়ী, ২ মার্চ (রোববার) প্রথম রমজানে ঢাকায় সেহরির শেষ সময় ভোররাত ৫টা ৪ মিনিট ও ইফতারির সময় ৬টা ২ মিনিট। তবে দূরত্ব অনুযায়ী ঢাকার সময়ের সঙ্গে সর্বোচ্চ ৯ মিনিট পর্যন্ত যোগ করে ও ৯ মিনিট পর্যন্ত বিয়োগ করে দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের মানুষ সেহরি ও ইফতার করবেন। এ বিষয়ে দ্বীনি দাওয়াত বিভাগের কর্মকর্তারা জানিয়েছেন, দেশের অন্যান্য বিভাগ ও জেলার সেহরি-ইফতারের সময়সূচি ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনের বিভাগীয় ও জেলা কার্যালয় থেকে প্রকাশ করা হবে।
