Rape, child abuse and murder are not isolated incidents: Mirza Fakhrul

The recent rape, child abuse and murder incidents are not isolated incidents; rather, they are a terrible reflection of the moral degradation, social irresponsibility and rapid decline in human values ​​that have been going on for many years, BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said. He said that the government will continue its all-out efforts against this inhuman crime.

Mirza Fakhrul said these things in a post on social media Facebook on Thursday (May 21). He also said, we will work to build a safe Bangladesh, where our children can grow up without fear.

The Local Government Minister wrote, only laws or government initiatives are not enough. A strong national social movement is needed. Families, schools, madrasas, teachers, religious leaders, media, social organizations and every citizen must come forward. We must teach our children about respect, humanity, responsibility and the dignity of women. Ensuring the safety of our children means securing the future of Bangladesh.
