Opposition leader in the Parliament and also Jatiya Party Chief Patron Raushan Ershad went to the Gono Bhaban to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Raushan went to the official residence of the premier along with her son Rahgir Al Mahi (Saad) Ershad and her spokesperson Kazi Mamunur Rashid on Tuesday afternoon. JaPa sources said the meeting is expected to start at 1:00pm. However, the agenda of the meeting could not be known immediately. Raushan along with her followers are not contesting the election due to intra-party conflicts.

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করতে গণভবনে গিয়েছেন জাতীয় পার্টির (জাপা) প্রধান পৃষ্ঠপোষক ও সংসদে বিরোধীদলীয় নেতা রওশন এরশাদ। আজ মঙ্গলবার (১২ ডিসেম্বর) দুপুরে তিনি গণভবনে যান বলে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছে জাপা। জানা যায়, রওশন এরশাদের সঙ্গে রয়েছেন তার ছেলে সাদ এরশাদ ও মুখপাত্র কাজী মামুনুর রশীদ। দুপুর ১টায় তাদের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করার কথা। দলের অভ্যন্তরীণ কোন্দলের কারণে আসন্ন দ্বাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে অংশ না নেওয়ার ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন রওশন এরশাদ ও তার অনুসারী নেতারা।
