Religious affairs ministry urges Hajj pilgrims to pay remaining package fees by Dec 31

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged prospective Hajj pilgrims who have completed preliminary registration to deposit the remaining amount of their Hajj package by December 31, warning that failure to do so may jeopardise their pilgrimage.

In a notice issued on Monday, December 22, the ministry said pilgrims for Hajj 2026 under both government and private management have already completed initial registration by depositing Tk 350,000.

However, according to the Hajj 2026 package and guidelines, pilgrims must deposit the full package amount by December 31, 2025.

The notice said pilgrims who have not yet paid the full amount of their selected package are requested to deposit the remaining balance within the stipulated time.

The ministry cautioned that if any registered pilgrim fails to pay the remaining amount within the deadline, their opportunity to perform Hajj may become uncertain.
