Remaining Hajj money to be deposited by January 15

The remaining Hajj package money must be deposited by January 15.

Pilgrims under government management will have to deposit this money in Sonali Bank and pilgrims under private management will have to deposit this money in the bank account of the agency concerned.

According to a Religious Affairs Ministry press release sent to media on Thursday (December 19), Hajj-1 branch of the ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (December 18).

The notification said according to the Saudi government's roadmap, pilgrims, who registered initially for Hajj 2025 depositing Tk 3 lakh, have to complete all formalities related to services including tent accommodation in Mina, Muallem accommodation, and payment of house or hotel rent and transportation by February 14, 2025.

For this reason, in the interest of smooth Hajj management, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has requested pilgrims to deposit the remaining money of the package by the specified date.
