Reshuffle in prisons: 8 jailers transferred

Eight jailors of the Prisons Department have been transferred. They were transferred in a notification signed by Brigadier General Syed Md. Motaher Hossain, Inspector General of Prisons Department, on Wednesday (April 16).

The transferred officers are: Nilphamari District Jail Jailer Md. Tariqul Islam has been transferred to Rangpur Central Jail. Rangpur Central Jail Jailer Md. Anwar Hossain has been transferred to Sirajganj District Jail, Sirajganj District Jail Jailer Abu Nur Md. Reza has been transferred to Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1, Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1 Jailer Md. Tariqul Islam has been transferred to Sylhet Central Jail Part-1, Sylhet Central Jail Part-1 Bandaghata Jailer Md. Sakhawat Hossain has been transferred to the Women's Central Jail, Keraniganj, Dhaka, District Superintendent Sarbattam Dewan, in-charge of Kishoreganj District Jail-1, to Gazipur District Jail, Gazipur District Jail Jailer Md. Moshfiqur Rahman, in-charge of Joypurhat District Jail, and Farhana Akhter, in-charge of Joypurhat District Jail, have been transferred to Kishoreganj District Jail-1.
