The results for the recommendation of nearly 41,000 teachers for non-government educational institutions under the 6th public circular have been officially released. Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar announced the results on Tuesday (August 19).

In his written statement, the Education Advisor said that against the demand for 1,00,822 vacant posts from various educational institutions across the country, nearly 41,000 lecturers and teachers have been recommended for recruitment following the proper process.

He also mentioned that every step of the teacher recruitment process — from e-registration and collecting demands to final recommendation based on merit — was completed with greater transparency and the help of modern technology.

CR Abrar said, “First, we held the 18th Teacher Registration Exam. A total of 18,65,719 candidates applied. Among them, 13,40,833 took part in the preliminary exam. Out of those, 4,79,981 passed.”

“Then, 3,48,680 candidates attended the written exam, and 83,865 passed. After that, 81,209 candidates took the viva (oral exam), and 60,634 passed. From them, nearly 41,000 candidates have been finally recommended for teacher recruitment.”

The results for the recommended candidates under the 6th public circular can be found on the website of the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).
