Return hajj flight begins Tuesday
Bangladeshi pilgrims are preparing to return home from Saudi Arabia as all the formalities of the Hajj have been completed.
The return flights for the Hajj pilgrims began on Tuesday (June 10) and will continue until July 10.
After throwing pebbles at the satan in Mina and performing the obligatory Tawaf around the Kaaba, the pilgrims are returning to Mina. Many lost their way on the way back and took refuge in the Hajj mission in Makka.
This year, 87,157 people from Bangladesh have performed Hajj in Saudi Arabia. Out of these, 19 pilgrims have died. During the current Hajj season, the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia has closed 436 fake Hajj agencies and arrested 462 people for violating the law.
Meanwhile, 188 Bangladeshis who went to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year have received treatment so far. In addition, 19 people are admitted to the country's government hospitals.
This time, the Hajj is being held on June 5. The first flight for the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia was on April 29 and the last flight for the pilgrimage was on May 31.
