Rizwana urges to celebrate Eid by showing care for nature

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, adviser for the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on Sunday, noting that Eid should be an occasion to give back to nature as well.

In a message of goodwill, the adviser highlighted that after a month of self-purification, Eid-ul-Fitr brings a profound message of joy, compassion, and brotherhood.

Rizwana urged everyone to celebrate Eid not only by sharing happiness with family and friends but also by showing care for nature.

She called upon citizens to celebrate the festival responsibly—avoiding littering, minimizing water wastage, and adopting environmentally friendly practices.

She also encouraged those who are capable to extend their support to underprivileged communities.

The adviser wished peace, prosperity, and well-being for all and expressed hope for a safe and joyful Eid celebration.
