Road asphalt melts in heat in Chuadanga
The temperature in Chuadanga has risen to 36 degrees Celsius at the beginning of the season. As a result, the intensity of the heat has increased in different areas of the district, making life miserable. Incidents of road asphalt melting have also been seen in some places.
The highest temperature was recorded in Chuadanga at 36.3 degrees Celsius on Thursday (April 1). At that time, the humidity of the air was 38 percent, which made the feeling of heat even more intense.
Although there was a mild winter a few days ago, the temperature suddenly increased and a mild heat wave has started. Locals said that the intensity of the heat is increasing day by day due to the lack of rainfall.
It can be seen on the ground that the road asphalt has melted and become soft in several places in front of Chuadanga Municipality. This is causing problems in movement.
Hard-working people, motorcycle and easy bike riders are the ones who have suffered the most in the intense heat. They said that many people are falling ill after having to stand in line for a long time in the sun to get fuel.
A motorcyclist said, "I have been standing in line since morning. My body is getting worse while I am in the sun."
Easybike drivers said that the heat has made driving difficult and their suffering has increased due to the long wait.
According to the Chuadanga weather observatory, the temperature has exceeded 36 degrees Celsius for the first time this season. Those concerned say that a mild heat wave is currently prevailing in the district, which may continue for a few more days.
