Ruhin Hossain Prince made coordinator of Left Democratic Alliance
Ruhin Hossain Prince, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), has been made the coordinator of the Left Democratic Alliance (Bam Ganotantrik Jot) for the next three months.
The announcement was made through a press release issued by the alliance on Monday (June 2).
According to the statement, the decision was made during a recent meeting of the alliance’s central executive committee. Prince will assume the role of coordinator starting today, leading the alliance’s activities through the upcoming quarter.
The Left Democratic Alliance currently consists of six left-leaning political parties in Bangladesh: the Revolutionary Communist League of Bangladesh, CPB, the Socialist Party of Bangladesh (BASAD), BASAD (Marxist), the Democratic Revolutionary Party, and the Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB).
