SAFF Futsal: CA congratulates women’s futsal team on title win

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has praised Bangladesh’s women’s futsal team for clinching the title at the inaugural SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship.

In a message released on Sunday (January 25) by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, Dr. Yunus congratulated the players, coaching staff, and all involved for their outstanding performance.

He said, “Winning the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship through such a remarkable performance is a proud moment for the country’s sports community. This achievement is a shining testament to the players’ determination, hard work, and skill.”

The Chief Adviser added that the victory would inspire the nation’s youth to engage more actively in sports and enhance Bangladesh’s image on the international stage.

Bangladesh defeated the Maldives 14-2 in the final in Bangkok to secure the championship in the first-ever edition of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Tournament.
