Sakib Al Hasan's house attacked in Magura

An explosive-like object was reportedly hurled at the house of former Bangladesh cricket team captain and former Magura-1 MP Sakib Al Hasan in Magura. Police have visited the scene, but it has not yet been confirmed whether the object was a petrol bomb.

The incident occurred around 8:45pm on Wednesday, August 5, at Sakib Al Hasan's house in the Keshabmor area of Magura town.

Local sources claimed that an explosive-like object was thrown at the upper part of the iron gate on the southern side of Sakib Al Hasan's house in the Keshabmor area.

Upon receiving the news, a team from Magura Sadar Police Station visited the scene and inspected the situation. However, no information was immediately available regarding who carried out the attack.

Magura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Al Mamun said, "We are observing the incident. It cannot be confirmed right now whether it was a petrol bomb. The actual details will be known after the investigation."

Police said an investigation is underway to determine the nature of the object thrown and the actual cause of the incident.
