For the first time, Samsung has launched its web browser for Windows operating systems. Previously, this browser could only be used on their smartphones, but it can now also be used on Windows computers, offering a more integrated browsing experience across devices.

Samsung has stated that the new browser has been designed to allow users to seamlessly continue browsing across different devices. Several AI-powered features have been integrated, capable of providing assistance based on user needs and context.

Users with Windows 10 and Windows 11 (version 1809 or later) can download and use this browser. However, some AI-based features are currently limited to South Korea and the United States. The company has announced plans to gradually expand these features to other countries in the future.

In a blog post, Samsung explained that the browser's main goal is to unify the browsing experience between phones and computers. As a result, users can pick up exactly where they left off on their phone when switching to a computer. Bookmarks, browsing history and open tabs will sync automatically.

The new browser includes an AI assistant called 'Agentic AI', developed in partnership with Perplexity, which can understand natural language queries, analyse web pages and present relevant information.
