Sarjis accuses interim government of regional discrimination
Sarjis Alam, Chief Coordinator for the Northern Region of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has pointed out key limitations of the interim government led by Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
In a post shared on his verified Facebook page, Sargis who identifies himself as a "July Revolutionary" outlined specific concerns, including allegations of favoritism and unequal development allocations. He claimed the interim government is exhibiting bias toward a particular division of the country.
“One of the main limitations of this interim government lies in areas such as the advisory council and the distribution of development funds,” Sarjis wrote in his post published on Friday (June 20) at around 4:30 PM.
He added, “In many cases, the interim government appears biased toward a specific division.”
