Saudi vice minister meets Hasan Mahmud in Kampala

Waleed El Khereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has met Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud in Uganda's Kampala. They discussed issues of mutual interest in the meeting.

Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Hasan Mahmud for assuming his new role as Foreign Minister of Bangladesh.

The two dignitaries deliberated on several matters of shared interest, including the advancement of trade, investment, and connectivity between the two nations with fraternal ties.

The Bangladesh delegation to the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was led by the Foreign Minister. He is also leading the delegation at the Third South Summit of G77.

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen; Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the UN, Muhammad A Muhith; and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya and Uganda, Tareque Muhammad, among others, are accompanying the Foreign Minister.
