Schedule published for 46th BCS viva examinations

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the schedule for the viva voce examinations of the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS). The timetable was published in a notice signed by PSC Examination Controller (Cadre) Masuma Afrin on Wednesday afternoon, November 24.

According to the published schedule, the examinations will commence on January 4. This initial phase of the schedule details the date and time for 2,102 candidates from both the general, and general and technical or professional cadres.

As per the notice, the viva voce will begin at 10am on January 4, with 210 candidates being examined on the first day. Based on the initially published schedule, this phase of the examination will conclude on January 15. The examinations will be held at the PSC office in Agargaon, Dhaka.

The notice states that the commission reserves the right to amend the published schedule if any reasonable revision is necessary.

The written examination results for the 46th BCS were published on November 27. A total of 4,042 candidates passed, including 2,336 in the general cadre and 738 in the technical or professional cadre from the written examination. Additionally, 968 candidates qualified in both the general and technical or professional cadres. These successful candidates are now eligible to participate in the viva voce examinations.
