Shafiq Riyan's new book Bishorjan at Book Fair

Popular fiction writer Shafiq Riyan has released his new novel, 'Bishorjan', on the occasion of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair. This marks his 6th book and 4th novel. The cover of the book is designed by Porag Wahid.

Published by Upakatha Prokashon, the book is priced at 300 BDT. It will be available at Rokomari.com and at stalls 665-666 of Upakatha Prokashon at the fair.

In an interview with Views Bangladesh, Shafiq Riyan shared insights about his new novel, Bishorjan. He said, "This is more than just a love story; it also delves into the inner world of medical life. The plot follows three friends—Shuvo, Rafsan, and Rihad—and another key character. Shuvo meets a girl named Trishna, and their bond evolves into love, taking the story in a new direction. When the sunrise consumes the darkness, the sunset comes with a warning. Will their tale end in sorrow, or will a new dawn arise? All of these answers await you in Bishorjan. Welcome to an epic journey of love, life, and sacrifice."

Shafiq Riyan's previous works, such as Aj Rate Chand Uthbe Na (2021), Megh Bishader Din (2022), Biddhosto Nakkhatra (2022), Nishiddho Kore Daw Suryasta (2023), and Bishader Chaya (2024), have received significant attention and acclaim. The young author remains optimistic about the reception of his latest novel.
