Authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have banned entry to all non-passengers for 24 hours due to special operational and security measures. A notice issued by the airport on Tuesday (December 23) stated that from 6:00pm on December 24 to 6:00 pm on December 25, only ticketed passengers will be allowed inside the airport premises. The airport administration requested the cooperation of passengers and the public during this period.

বিশেষ অপারেশনাল ও নিরাপত্তাজনিত কারণে ঢাকার হজরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর এলাকায় ২৪ ঘণ্টার জন্য যাত্রী ছাড়া অন্য সবার প্রবেশ নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার (২৩ ডিসেম্বর) শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষ এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, আগামী ২৪ ডিসেম্বর সন্ধ্যা ৬টা থেকে ২৫ ডিসেম্বর সন্ধ্যা ৬টা পর্যন্ত নির্ধারিত যাত্রী ছাড়া কোনো সহযাত্রী বা ভিজিটর বিমানবন্দর এলাকায় প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না। একই সঙ্গে যাত্রী ও সংশ্লিষ্ট সবার সহযোগিতা কামনা করেছে বিমানবন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষ।
