Shakib in Magura with convoy

Bangladesh Awami league nominated Shakib Al Hasan for Magura-1 seat for the upcommng polls. After becoming a Awami League candidate, the star crickter went to his area for the first time. He reached Magura with a fleet of vehicles by road on Wednesday (November 29) around 11:30 am.

Thousands of supporters gathered at the Garai Setu area to welcome him at this time.

Shakib left Dhaka around 9 am. A delegation of district Awami League was ready to receive him at Garai Setu area. Shakib was welcomed there. After exchanging greetings with the leaders and activists at the party office, he is scheduled to go to the Magura Municipal Cemetery.

Shakib Al Hasan took the nomination form for Dhaka-10 seats apart from Magura 1 and 2 seats to participate in the 12th National Assembly elections. On November 21, he submitted the nomination form to the Awami League central office at Bangabandhu Avenue.
