‘Sharadiya Abahan’ Her-e-Trade Exhibition to begin in Dhaka on October 2

The 10th edition of the Her-e-Trade Exhibition, titled ‘Sharadiya Abahan’, will begin in Dhaka on October 2, bringing together 62 women entrepreneurs from different parts of Bangladesh to showcase locally made products and services.

Organised by the Her-e-Trade Trust, the two-day exhibition will be held on October 2 and 3 at the Midas Centre in Dhanmondi-27.

The event will feature a range of products, including local fashion items, handicrafts, food, lifestyle products and various services.

Organisers said the exhibition aims to promote locally made products while creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and connect directly with potential customers.

The opening ceremony will be held on October 2, with Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Executive Director Dr Nazneen Ahmed attending as the guest of honour.

The organisers said the exhibition will go beyond product display and sales, providing participating entrepreneurs with opportunities to build business networks, exchange experiences and establish connections with new markets.

Bringing women entrepreneurs from different regions under one platform is also expected to encourage collaboration and create new avenues for business expansion, organisers said.

‘Sharadiya Abahan’ will remain open to visitors from 10am to 8pm on both days.
