Sheikh Hasina protected my father's killers: Dr. Reza Kibria

Dr. Reza Kibria, son of Awami League leader and former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria, has alleged that Sheikh Hasina has protected his father's killers for the past 15 years.

He said that this raises suspicions that the murder may have been committed on her orders.

He made the claim in response to questions from journalists after a prayer mahfil organized at his home in Jalalsap village of Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj on Wednesday afternoon for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Dr. Reza Kibria, who recently joined BNP, said that the current government lacks administrative skills. The government has failed in everything that is needed to organize a fair election - a fair environment at the polling station, security and ballot box protection. He said that this has raised serious doubts about the early election.

Leaders and activists of Nabiganj upazila BNP and its affiliates were present at the prayer mahfil.
