Daraz Bangladesh has officially launched its highly anticipated '6.6 Mid-Year Shopping Fest,' unleashing a wave of massive discounts, exclusive brand partnerships, and high-value rewards for online shoppers across the country.

The major e-commerce event went live on June 5 at 8pm and is scheduled to run until June 10, 2026. Aimed at easing mid-year expenses for consumers, the campaign spans essential retail categories including electronics, fashion, FMCG, home appliances, health & beauty, and lifestyle products.

Unprecedented discounts and flash sales
This year’s shopping festival is anchored by massive price cuts. Shoppers can access up to 80% off via designated 'Mega Deals' and timed 'Flash Sales,' while 'Hot Deals' offer price reductions of up to 70%. To further lower the barrier to purchase, Daraz is offering site-wide delivery discounts, free shipping on selected items, and collectible discount vouchers throughout the six-day window.

Mega rewards, smart TVs and smartphones up for grabs
In an exciting twist for frequent shoppers, Daraz has teamed up with household hygiene brand Harpic to host a special shopping contest. Running from June 6 to June 15, the competition will track user participation, ultimately rewarding top-performing shoppers with grand prizes, including a Samsung 55-inch Smart TV and a Realme C100i smartphone.

Brand days and rush hour events
The campaign kicked off with a six-hour 'Brand Rush Hour,' granting immediate, deep discounts on premium labels. For the remainder of the festival, the platform is hosting dedicated brand days, including a Walton Brand Day on June 7 and a Dettol Brand Day on June 8. Specialized category-specific campaigns will also cycle through weekdays, allowing users to find curated deals tailored to their daily needs.

For everyday essentials, the 'Daraz Choice' channel is doubling down on its Everyday Low Price (EDLP) model. Shoppers utilizing this channel can unlock bundles such as "Buy 3, Get Free Delivery" and "Buy 5, Get 1 Free Gift with Free Delivery."

Strategic corporate and payment partnerships
The scale of the 6.6 festival is backed by major consumer goods giants. Dettol, Unilever, and Himalaya have signed on as Exclusive Platinum Partners. Marico joins the event as a Gold Sponsor, while Emami and Godrej are participating as Silver Sponsors.

To streamline transactions and offer extra financial relief, Daraz has partnered with leading financial institutions. Cardholders of Eastern Bank PLC, Midland Bank PLC, and Southeast Bank PLC can claim exclusive collectible vouchers and unlock additional discounts on qualifying transactions during the campaign period.
