Six police officers transferred and posted to new positions

Six officers of the Bangladesh Police have been transferred and posted to new positions. Five of them have been removed from their current posts and assigned to different positions, while the previous transfer order of Additional Superintendent of Police ANM Saiful Alam Khan has been cancelled and he has been posted to a new workplace.

The decisions were announced in separate notifications issued by the Personnel Management-1 branch of Police Headquarters on Thursday (September 10).

According to one notification, five officers have been transferred and posted to different positions. They have been instructed to hand over charge at their current workplaces and join their new posts by September 19. If they fail to hand over their responsibilities within the stipulated time, they will be considered immediately released from their current posts from September 20.

In another notification, the previous transfer order of Additional Superintendent of Police ANM Saiful Alam Khan was cancelled. He had been serving as an additional superintendent of police at Police Headquarters. Earlier, he had been transferred to Magura Sadar Circle.

Under the new order, the decision to transfer him to Magura Sadar Circle has been cancelled, and Saiful Alam Khan has been posted as an additional superintendent of police at the Special Branch (SB).

In a separate notification, Additional Superintendent of Police of the Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Faria Afroz has been transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police at the TR Branch of Police Headquarters in Dhaka.
