Special trains to run on the occasion of Bishwa Ijtema
Bangladesh Railway will operate special trains to facilitate the travel of devotees during the Bishwa Ijtema. This was revealed in a management letter published by the Chief Operating Superintendent's Office of the Eastern Region of Bangladesh Railway.
Juma Special-1 will leave Dhaka at 9:30 am and reach Tongi at 10:15 am.
Juma Special-2 will leave Tongi station at 3:45 pm and reach Dhaka at 3:45 pm.
Two trains will be run from Jamalpur and Tangail as special trains on Saturday (February 1). The first train will leave Jamalpur at 9:15 am and reach Tongi station at 2:15 pm. The second train will leave Tangail at 12:00 pm and reach Tongi at 1:20 pm.
In addition, 10 trains will be operated on Sunday (February 2), the day of the final prayer. Among them, Dhaka-Tongi Special-1 will leave Dhaka at 4:45 am, Dhaka-Tongi Special-2 will leave Dhaka at 5:00 am, Dhaka-Tongi Special-3 will leave Dhaka at 5:25 am, Dhaka-Tongi Special-4 will leave Dhaka at 5:50 am.
On the other hand, on the way back from Tongi station, Tongi-Dhaka Special-1 will leave Tongi station at 8:35 am, Tongi-Dhaka Special-2 will leave Tongi station at 9:42 am, Tongi-Dhaka Special-3 will leave Tongi station at 10:40 am, Tongi-Dhaka Special-4 will leave Tongi station at 11:07 am, Tongi-Mymensingh Special-1 will leave Tongi station at 12:20 pm and the last Tongi-Tangail Special-2 will leave Tongi station at 12:50 pm.
