SSC pass rate in Rajshahi Board stands at 63.67%

The pass rate and the number of students achieving GPA-5 in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations under the Rajshahi Education Board have declined.

This year, the SSC pass rate under the Rajshahi Board is 63.67 per cent. The pass rate among female students is 70.73 per cent, while 57.33 per cent of male students passed.

A total of 16,113 students achieved GPA-5. Of them, 8,991 were female students and 7,122 were male students. Once again, girls have outperformed boys both in terms of the pass rate and the number of GPA-5 achievers.

Last year, the pass rate under the board was 77.63 per cent, while 22,327 candidates achieved GPA-5.

This year, a total of 178,952 students appeared for the examination under the Rajshahi Board, of whom 112,086 passed.

Among 2,713 schools under the board, students of 35 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass rate.
