SSC results: Number of Institutions with 100% pass rate drops by 1,984

The results of the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations were announced on Thursday, revealing a decline in the overall pass rate to 68.45%, compared to 83.04% in 2024.

A detailed analysis showed that only 984 educational institutions nationwide achieved a 100% pass rate this year, a sharp drop from 2,968 institutions last year. This indicates a decrease of 1,984 institutions with perfect pass records.

The results were simultaneously published by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh, alongside the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Unlike previous years, no formal ceremony was held for the results announcement. However, a coordination meeting took place at the Dhaka Education Board’s conference room, where Professor Dr. Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Board, addressed the gathering.
