The entire nation has been traumatised by the incident in which 32 people were killed and 165 injured when a plane crashed at the Diabari Milestone School and College in the capital. For two days, many have written on social media that they have been unable to sleep properly. It has also been reported that many children are getting scared just hearing the sound of a plane flying overhead. In such a situation, think about the students of Milestone School and College. They have witnessed such a horrific accident in front of their eyes. They have seen the death of dear friends. Not only the injured, but also those who are physically healthy without any injury, who were away from the incident, but are students of that school, their mental state can easily be understood. In such a situation, as much as extra care from the family is needed to remove the trauma of the students of that school, it is equally urgent for the state to take initiative to keep them mentally well.

Regarding this, psychiatrist Professor Dr Mohit Kamal has also expressed his opinion through a report. He wrote, "There are no words to console the parents of those who have died. They will have to carry the pain of losing a child for the rest of their lives. The children who are groaning in hospital beds with burn wounds on their little bodies—from the fire—have suffered a massive injury to their psyche alongside the physical wounds. Many of the injured may physically recover over time, but the mental trauma will remain for a long time."

A plane has crashed onto the roof and premises of a school, just imagine the terrible sound of it! Many in the classroom could not even understand what kind of sound it was! Many of the injured said they initially thought it was the sound of a bomb explosion. Then fire! In a moment, several children facing death!

In 1986, following a mid-air collision between two planes in Cerritos, California, they crashed into a residential area, and in this horrific accident, 82 people lost their lives. Among them were all the passengers and crew of the two planes, as well as several residents of the residential area around the crash site. Although several nearby schools were shaken, luckily the wreckage of the two planes did not directly hit any school. However, smoke and debris entered classrooms of nearby schools. Some child students were playing outside or looking out through the window at that moment. They saw the entire incident in front of their eyes. Many of them later became victims of trauma. Because they witnessed the accident in front of their eyes, they suffered such a level of trauma that they were later given advanced treatment.

Now think about the students of our country. Those who have been direct victims of this horrific accident, who have seen their dear friends burn to death in front of their eyes—what will be their condition! Now the matter to see is what initiative the state takes to remove their mental trauma. Sadly, even after such a major accident, the school was not closed the next day! Yet a mourning day was observed!
