Students protest demanding resignation of Education Adviser, Secretary

Students in Dhaka held a protest on Tuesday afternoon, July 22, demanding the resignation of Education Adviser Professor Dr. C R Abrar and Education Secretary Siddique Zobair.

The demonstration included students from Dhaka College, City College, Ideal College, and five other colleges in the Dhanmondi area. Protesters raised various slogans calling for the officials’ resignation.

On the other hand, students from various colleges in the Mirpur and Mogbazar areas of the capital are also marching towards the Education Board. Their procession is currently around the University of Dhaka area.

The students have stated that they are angry about the decision to postpone the exam around 3 a.m. For this reason, they are demanding the resignation of the Education Adviser and the Education Secretary. If they do not resign within 24 hours, a strict program of action will be implemented.
