Tareq Refat Ullah Khan made new MD of BRAC Bank

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BRAC Bank PLC.

The bank’s board of directors approved his appointment on Tuesday (September 2), according to a press release.

Since May 27 this year, he had been serving as MD & CEO (current charge). Earlier, in April, he was promoted to Additional Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking in recognition of his contribution to innovation and business growth.

BRAC Bank Chairperson, Meheriar M. Hassan, said, “Tareq Refat Ullah Khan is the ideal leader for this important position. He will accelerate the bank’s growth.”

Before joining BRAC Bank, Tareq Refat Ullah held key positions at Eastern Bank, AB Bank, and IFIC Bank.
