Tarique Choyon gets International Excellence Award in Malaysia

Md Tariqul Islam Bhuiyan, alias Tarique Choyon, First Secretary (Press) at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, received The International Excellence Awards (IEA) 2025 from the Uptimaze Global (Australia/Nepal) and Exito Events, Australia.

The International Excellence Awards (IEA) Malaysia 2025 concluded today (14 October) with a grand celebration of global excellence, leadership, and innovation at Lincoln University College, Kuala Lumpur. The prestigious international event was hosted by Lincoln University College, Malaysia. The ceremony was chaired by Ms. Anuza Acharya, Co-Founder and Director of Uptimaze Global, and graced by Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff A. Bakar, CEO of Lincoln University College, as the Chief Guest.

This year, a total of 22 awards were presented to youth icons, educators, and international personalities representing 11 different countries, recognizing their exceptional contributions in education, entrepreneurship, social service, and innovation.

Among the distinguished awardees were Katniss Griffiths (USA), Tarique Choyon (Bangladesh), Dr. Arthur Amora Cruzada (Philippines), Aarohi Shrivastava (India), Rajat K. Shrestha (Nepal), James Lamont Dunn (USA), Felicia Kehli (UK/Algeria), Dr. Ramji Ram (Nepal), Dr. Shuvam Kumar Agrawal (Nepal), Janak Khakurel (Nepal), Laxman Pokharel (Nepal), Sajan Kaspal, Kamal Khanal, and Chandra Narayan Mandal from Nepal’s education sector.

The event also recognized inspiring global figures from Romania, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
and the United Kingdom under categories such as Global Icon Award, International Excellence
Award, and Education Excellence Award.
