Tarique Rahman calls for building a country where everyone can live with dignity

BNP chairman Tarique Rahman has called for building a Bangladesh where every person can live with dignity.

He made the call while distributing wheelchairs among children with special needs at an event organised by CSF Global at a hotel in Bogura on January 30.

The programme was initiated by his wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman. The BNP’s verified Facebook page confirmed the event.

Speaking as chief guest, Tarique Rahman urged everyone to work together to build a Bangladesh where every individual can develop a sense of dignity and live with self-respect.

Highlighting society’s responsibility towards children with special needs, he said many of them possess qualities that others do not. He expressed hope that Bangladesh could produce many talented individuals if people from social, political and state positions stand beside them.

Dr Zubaida Rahman said the BNP is committed to the country’s development and the establishment of humanitarian values.

Wheelchairs were distributed among 10 children with special needs at the event.
