Tarique Rahman expresses gratitude to Islamic scholars

BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman has expressed his sincere gratitude and congratulations to the country's leading Islamic scholars in response to their support. He stated that the stance taken by the country's pirs, mashayekh, and Islamic scholars at this historic moment for the nation will provide the people with the right guidance.

The thanks were conveyed in a press release signed by BNP Chairperson's Press Secretary A A M Saleh Shibli on Wednesday, February 11.

News published in various media outlets today reported that 'Top Islamic leaders from all schools of thought across the country have extended support to BNP'. In this context, Tarique Rahman expressed his gratitude to the country's pirs, mashayekh, alims, ulama, imams, and khatibs.

Tarique Rahman said this clear stance of the Islamic scholars will play a vital role in curbing the propaganda being carried out against BNP. He also believes that ahead of the national election, the people of the country will receive proper guidance on what needs to be done to establish their political and social rights.

He also sought the continued cooperation of these religious leaders in building a safe and humane Bangladesh for all citizens, irrespective of party, opinion, religion, or caste, in the light of Islamic values in the future.
